What Are You Doing? by s.k. Jackson
What are you doing to me?
You have me spinning in a vortex of emotion that has no ending, no reprieve and
no escape.
My heart has been voluntarily kidnapped, and my soul is under a torent of
undulating passion
That keeps growing and growing and growing
Until at last we both explode in ecstacy, finally coming to rest in each other's arms...spent.
What have you done to me?
My thoughts are constantly repeating the song of your voice
Telling me that we will never be without the other.
The melodic symphony of your words
Both exciting me to distraction and yet comforting me to utter rest.
What are you doing to me?
My heart aches for your simple touch, and yet
Finds solace in the fact that you are always out there
Thinking of me and feeling my presence
Because I am always with you.
What are you doing to me? And whatever it is...don't ever stop.
